Amen! Every time I look at an organization, I check out the diversity of that company. If it's all men, if there are no people of colour, if the age range isn't diverse, it tells me the most important things I need to know about them. It tells me there's a lack of introspection about how they view the world and a lack of innovation. You said it so well.

Hi Denise,

Thank you for mentioning my book in the "Story at Work-Books" list.

About the title--the entire book is done as dialogue. So, Sam Horn (author of POP! and many other books) who I hired to help me title it (she's the best in the industry), felt it best that the title also be dialogue--which means it didn't need to be grammatically correct. The title is a spin-off of a phrase my former husband (a marketing/branding guru) and his colleagues use at Microsoft when watching PowerPoint presentations ("wake me when it's over").

Thank you for letting me share this background information with your readers.

Happy Holiday,
Lori Silverman
