The Design Advantage: Urban Development Institute. Co-develop a custom workshop to introduce the U40 (under-forty) members of the UDI to design processes and tools, to generate solutions to the housing affordability problem in Vancouver. (more)

Narrative Evaluation: Cultural Capitals of Canada. Conduct story-based research project to identify lessons learned and legacies resulting from the City of Surrey’s Cultural Capital of Canada multi-partner programming. (more)
Strategic Planning for Teaching Excellence: SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology). Design and facilitate an extensive Appreciative Inquiry across schools and disciplines to engage over 100 faculty members in developing and implementing an institution-specific, shared vision of teaching excellence. Community Engagement for Crime Reduction: SFU / City of Surrey. Lead a project with youth-at-risk, academics, RCMP, planners and community groups to design a strategy to reduce crime. Launched a pilot for an innovative outreach program for youth, by youth. (more)
Usability Research and Process Design – BCcampus. Design a simple and sustainable, story-based, usability testing process for use by BCcampus staff that focuses on measuring user satisfaction. (more)

Engagement Design Workshop: University of Victoria (Certificate in Adult & Continuing Education). Design and facilitate a course for faculty, adult educators and instructional designers on the theory and practice of designing engaging learning activities.
Animated Learning Object Production: eCampus Alberta. Create a series of short, story-based, animated learning objects to help faculty in Alberta imagine how they might use technology to enhance engagement of learners. (download one of the flash movies)
Engagement Workshop: BCED Online Conference. Design and deliver a workshop for K-12 teachers on generating engagement among learners.
Animated Learning Parables for Facilitators – Western Canada Family Child Care Association (WCFCCA).
